Privacy Policy

The Short Version

AllJSONTools is a 100% client-side application. All JSON processing, formatting, conversion, and validation happens entirely in your browser. We do not send your data to any server, and we do not store, log, or have access to the content you paste or type into our tools.

Your data is yours. Period.

Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not do:

  • We do not collect, transmit, or store any JSON data you input into our tools. All processing is local to your browser.

  • We do not require user accounts, sign-ups, or login of any kind.

  • We do not sell your personal information.

  • We do not access the content you paste, type, upload, or download through any tool on this site.

How Our Tools Work

Every tool on AllJSONTools runs JavaScript directly in your web browser. When you paste JSON into the formatter, convert JSON to YAML, or generate TypeScript interfaces — all of that computation happens locally on your device. No API calls are made, no data is uploaded, and nothing leaves your machine.

AllJSONTools is also a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it and use it fully offline with no internet connection at all.

Hosting & Infrastructure

AllJSONTools is hosted on Vercel and uses Cloudflare for DNS. These providers may collect basic server access logs (such as IP addresses and request timestamps) as part of their standard infrastructure operations. This data is managed by those providers under their respective privacy policies and is not accessed or processed by us.

Local Storage

AllJSONTools may use your browser's local storage to save user preferences such as theme selection (light/dark mode). This data is stored exclusively in your browser, is never transmitted to any server, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

AllJSONTools integrates a small number of third-party services to keep the site free, measure aggregate usage, and serve ads. These services may collect data independently under their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdSense — We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. See Google's How Google uses information page for details.

  • Google Tag Manager — Used to manage tags on the site, including AdSense and any future analytics tags. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data but loads other scripts.

  • Umami Analytics — Privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics used to measure aggregate page views. Umami does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. See Umami's privacy policy.

  • Vercel & Cloudflare — Hosting and DNS providers. See the "Hosting & Infrastructure" section above.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

AllJSONTools itself does not set tracking cookies. However, third-party services loaded on this site (notably Google AdSense and Google Tag Manager) may set cookies on your device for the purposes of:

  • Serving and measuring advertisements

  • Frequency capping and ad relevance

  • Detecting invalid traffic and ad fraud

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not break the JSON tools themselves, which run entirely client-side.

We also use your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as theme selection. Local storage is not a cookie and is never sent to any server.

Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Similar Laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information held about you.

  • Opt out of personalized advertising (see Google Ads Settings link above).

  • Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time through your browser.

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because AllJSONTools does not collect or store personal data directly, most rights requests should be directed to the relevant third-party service (Google, Umami, Vercel, Cloudflare). For anything else, contact us via the contact page.

Children's Privacy

AllJSONTools is a general-audience developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our site, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
